Based on the changing trends in the modern media environment, Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan operates in accordance with the “Charter of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan” approved by the Decree No. 1249 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 12, 2021, to enhance the human resource potential in the media sector and train professional specialists.

The Agency organizes professional and specialized journalism trainings, specialization programs for the technical staff of media entities, as well as various projects for the development of young personnel, to improve the professionalism of media representatives and train specialists in the relevant field.

To date, nearly 600 media representatives have participated in various training and professional development programs organized by the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the participation of more than 70 local and international trainers.
